Dr. David Byrd is a Fellowship trained MOHs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgeon. He is Board-Certified in both Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery with Fellowship training in Laser Surgery, and Cosmetic Dermatology.

He completed his residency and fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and is currently on staff at Corewell Health and Ascension Hospital.

He is published and has presented extensively nationally, as well as internationally, with regard to skin care and maintains his focus and commitment to obtain the best care to his patients and their skin.

He serves as a Clinical Instructor for resident doctors from five medical institutions and holds the position of Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Wayne State University and Clinical Associate Professor at Corewell Health.

Dr. Byrd is certified by the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery, the Skin Cancer Foundation, the Dermatology Foundation, the Michigan Dermatology Foundation, the Michigan Dermatologic Society, the Michigan State Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
